List Obituaries generates a table listing the obituaries registered in your system. The table contains links to print, edit and delete individual obituaries; edit memorial picture boards and guest books. Each function is described below.

Display Obituary renders the obituary on the screen in a format that is printer friendly. The option should be used if you need to print the obituary for any reason.

Edit Obituary displays a form very similar to the one originally used to enter an obituary. The only difference between the two forms is that the Edit form does not permit you to upload an image. You cannot change a picture in an obituary by editiing the obituary.

You may change the picture by creating a new obituary. You should copy the obituary text so that you do not have to re-type it. Copy the Obituary text by highlighting the selection, clicking the right mouse button and selecting the copy option. Then enter a new obituary with the new picture, paste the obituary text into the correct location in the form and submit it. Delete the old obituary after you have entered the new version.

Edit Memorial Picture Board generates a form that allows you to enter the information for the Memorial Picture Board. The listing of obituaries will contain this column only if the Memorial Picture Board has been enabled in your web site. Click here to read a description of the Memorial Picture Board.

Delete Obituary asks you to confirm that you want to delete the obituary. All items associated with an obituary, guest book and memorial picture board, are deleted when you delete an obituary. Please be sure that you no longer need an obituary before deleting it.

Maintain Guest Book provides two options: a printer friendly version of the guest book and edit guest book. The printer friendly version of the guest book allows you to print the guest book on good paper for presentation to the family. The complete contact information is included when the guest book is printed using this option.

The edit guest book option allows you to delete individual messages from the guest book. This will allow you to delete an inapropriate message if someone were to leave one. The function does not allow you to actually edit the message itself.
